The website is the online extension of Descopera magazine published by Publimedia. According to it’s slogan, “Discover your world!”, the website challenges it’s users to get in touch with the most interesting news and articles on topics like: nature, culture, science, traveling, extreme sports and the wonders of digital world.

After the re-launch in November 2007, the website includes a new section, D:Pedia, where internet users can find complete information and traveling reviews on each country in the world. They can also locate each country on an interactive map.

The interactive part of this website allows users to post their own travel photos and diaries, to read about other people’s experiences, to comment upon the website’s articles or even write their own articles.
